Sclerotherapy - thread veins treatment

Sclerotherapy - thread veins treatment

Sclerotherapy works by injecting a small amount of medicine into the enlarged small veins. This induces an inflammation in the vein. This inflammation is hardly noticed by you, but it “glues” the vein together. After a couple of weeks the vein will gradually disappear. It is important to understand that when we treat the visible enlarged small veins, we cannot prevent the development of new veins.
